How to use your fan?
Hold the fan in your hand in a closed position. Make sure the part that will slide open is facing downwards.

Flick your wrist with enough force. This will extend the folds of the fan.
Move your hand up to cover your face and flutter it swiftly and gently.
Avoid fluttering it hard; it's not the purpose of using a fan.
Make your flicking the fan in the right direction.
If you don't get it fully open when flicking, subtly widen the folds with your fingers.Make sure the right side of the fan is facing away from you (if the fan isn't double-sided).
